Start the day with Hair play!
Our Generation dolls love styling their hair! They like to use new hairstyles to express themselves and show their creativity for any occasion.
Here are a few hairstyles that your Our Generation doll – especially an Our Generation Hair Play doll – might love. You can even try them on yourself to match your bestie!
· For best results, it is recommended to use a wire brush.
· Divide the hair into small sections and gently brush them one at a time. Make sure to brush out the tangles starting from the bottom and then moving up.
· Mist the hair lightly with water from a spray bottle if you are having a hard time detangling it.
· If your bestie has wavy hair, be very gentle when brushing the ends, this will help preserve the curls.
· For tight curls, finger style the hair. Separate a small section and work your fingers through it, twirling as you go.
· For braided styles, tightly braiding the hair while damp will help control frizzy ends.
· Avoid using styling products like gel or mousse, as this may damage the hair.
· Avoid using a blow dryer, hot rollers, curling, or straightening iron on the hair.
· Brush hair in small sections.

1. Brush your doll’s hair to get rid of any knots or tangles.
2. Take a 1-inch section of hair from each side of your doll’s head and tie them together into a ponytail with an elastic.
3. Grab a second 1-inch section of hair just below the first ones.
4. Roll the second strand of hair over the first section and pull it through the loop created between the two sections.
5. Repeat step 4 on the other side. Then tie the three long ends together with an elastic.

1. Brush your doll’s hair to get rid of any knots or tangles.
2. Using small sections of hair, make tight little braids. Do this all around your doll’s head.
3. Secure braids with elastic at the end.
4. Slightly pull out small loops of hair from the braid, using your fingers or a comb.
5. Continuing along the braid, repeat step 4 every 3/4 inch, leaving sections of the braid in between untouched to create a pattern.
6. You could even decorate the braids with flowers too!
Some Our Generation dolls love to dance. One good hairstyle for any dancing doll should keep her hair in place while she dazzles on stage… and a ballerina bun is the perfect example!
1. Brush your doll’s hair to get rid of any knots or tangles.
2. Place her hair in a ponytail. Use two hair bands so it holds firmly in place.
3. Twist the ponytail tightly.
4. Tightly, wind the twist around the hair band holding the ponytail in place.
5. This should form a bun.
6. Keep the bun in place with bobby pins.
