Caring for Your Our Generation Doll
Glowing Tattoos
Aisha is an Our Generation Deco Doll who has lots of fun expressing herself with glow-in-the-dark tattoo stickers!
To activate the glow-in-the-dark effect, leave the stickers under a light (such as a desk lamp) for one hour. You can reactivate the glow-in-the-dark any time by positioning the stickers under a light again - just make sure it doesn't get too hot, especially if the stickers are on your doll! Too much heat can damage both your doll and the tattoo stickers.
Tattoo stickers are not meant to be permanent and might not be suitable for reuse. When you decide to remove the stickers from your doll, it is possible that the sticker will be damaged and you will not be able to use it again. That's ok! There are 4 sheets of stickers to choose from, so you'll have lots of fun decorating your doll!
To apply the tattoo stickers, simply peel them off the backing sheet and press gently but firmly onto your doll. To remove the stickers, using your fingernail, carefully lift the edge of the sticker and peel off. If the sticker is still "sticky," put it back onto the sticker sheet and use it again! If not, maybe there is another creative use for the sticker - you could tape it onto a notebook as a decoration!
Hair and Hair Extensions
The glow-in-the-dark hair extensions are so cool and colorful! To use them in your doll's hair, simply clip them in!
To activate the glow-in-the-dark effect, leave the hair extensions under a light (such as a desk lamp) for one hour. You can reactivate the glow-in-the-dark any time by positioning the hair extensions under a light again - just make sure it doesn't get too hot, especially if the hair extensions are already on your doll! Too much heat can damage both your doll and the tattoo stickers.
Aisha arrives with her hair pulled back in a top knot, but you can style her hair in a lot of different ways!
First things first - haircare for your doll will be easier with the proper tools!
We recommend using a round-tipped wire brush.
You will also need a small spray bottle filled with water. The best kind to use will be able to spray a very fine mist (instead of a strong jet).
Second, make sure to avoid heat and styling products on your doll's hair (and body)! Heated styling tools like hair dryers or straighteners and products like gels or mousses can permanently damage your doll.
When you first undo Aisha's top knot, her hair might be a little kinked from staying in one style for so long as she made her journey to you.
To help straighten her hair, we recommend very lightly misting her hair with water - not too much! - to remove static and make the hair easier to brush.
Next, use the wire brush and very gently but firmly brush Aisha's hair, starting at the ends and working your way up. Let her hair air-dry, and repeat this process until her hair is as straight as you like it!

Your Our Generation doll has a cuddly, soft body that should not get wet. Pretend swimming is ok! But please do not submerse your doll in water.
OG Dolls love pretending to play on the beach…but please make sure not to let your doll sit in the sun for too long…exposure to heat of any kind can cause serious harm to your doll!
